Who's CALLing?

Hello people! I am here again to fulfill my assignment and also inform you. This post will inform you about the development of CALL (Computer-Assisted Language Learning). CALL emerged in the 1950s. In the 1960s and 1970s, Structural/Behaviouristic CALL is used. Through this time, repeated exposure to the same material is believed to be beneficial to learning. A computer is used as a tutor. There was Communicative/Cognitive CALL in the 1980s and 1990s. Grammar is not taught explicitly. Computers are used to create discussions or critical thinking. Since the 1990s, we are using Integrative/Sociocognitive/Socioconstructive CALL. This includes using multimedia and the internet in learning. Now, I am thinking as a person raised by Integrative CALL, how would it be to be educated by the old types of CALL?
